View Article  My Favourite Things

As I was driving home last night, I was thinking about how much I really like certain things (to keep you in anticipation I will not list them now) and how certain people have influenced me to buy them.

So that being said, if Oprah can do it so can I. This section is dedicated to my favourite things (and where you can get them).

View Article  Nike +iPod Shoe Pouch

My Nike +iPod is one of my favourite things - I bought it in August of 2006 at Nike Town NYC. Sadly though, I had to retire it for about six months. As much as I loved using it, I just couldn't bare to switch to Nike runners and duct-taping the sensor to the bottom of my orthotics to use with my Ascics just wasn't working.

Well, last month I was reading an update online from Running Free and they did a write up on a Nike +  iPod shoe pouch. I bought one yesterday and used it on my long run this am.  It is absolutely incredible!  I highly recommend this product to everyone who runs and owns an iPod. I even bought one for my sister.

Thank you so much to the people at Grantwood Technologies.

View Article  Riedel Wine Glasses & Dish Soap

My mom bought me four bordeaux Vinum wine glasses for Christmas about four years ago. Since then, I have purchased the sauvignon blanc and chablis versions. (Okay I love french wines).  These wine glasses are incredible. There is nothing like drinking out of a well-made, well-designed glass to bring out the bouquet and taste of wine.

I have also started to go green when it comes to cleaning supplies. I can say that BioVert citrus dish detergent is absolutely amazing. (I couldn't find a picture of it but here is their packaging for laundry soap.) I ran out and was unable to buy some so I substituted for Dawn. I realize now how greasy and sticky commerical dish detergents are! Take my challenge and try this one out. You will be converted!
